Dad Contest Winner Announced!
A year ago my dad was in an awful car accident that left him with a broken back and paralyzed from the waist down. He was a retired firefighter commuting after going back to work to help my sister go back to school. My dad has always been a giver! He has always wanted to help others when in need before himself. He always has done everything and anything for us. Even giving up retirement to help us with schooling. I love my dad. He never thought twice about it. Just did what he needed to do. We can never repay him for all he has done. More than most fathers would do. Watching him this past year learn how to adjust to this new life and learn to get his independence back has been one of the hardest things to endure. Giving him this Father’s Day gift would just be an amazing thing to surprise my dad with. This year has been spent at doctors and therapy and he hasn’t had much time or the means to just enjoy himself. He deserves so much more than I can ever repay to him.
