Martian Spotted in Grass Valley

Nevada County is a reader’s community. That is probably one of the reasons the people here are so friendly and thoughtful. Taylor Day, who handles radio traffic, and Allison, STAR’S amazing co-host, always have a book at the ready. Some of the best book stores in the country are right here too. Recently, Nevada Reads and Writes announced the community book selection for 2017. The Martian, recently made into a movie, was written by Andrew Weir. Copies of the book are available at all Nevada County Community Library branches and through the Library To Go/Overdrive link on the Library’s home page.
