That’s Patricia Smith–Chair of Americans for Safe Access Nevada County. Smith says she’s now focusing on 2016, and a marijuana legalization initiative that will likely be on the state ballot. Other than ASA-Nevada County, Smith says there are other grous in the area now, including one called the Emerald Growers Association…
Smith is not a member of that group, but she is area chair of another group called Coalition for Cannabis Policy Reform. Smith says she is focusing on the medical use of marijuana for a California initiative–something she says is largely being ignored elsewhere…
Smith feels it’s just a matter of time before marijuana is legal in several places, and even on the federal level.
