The Grass Valley City council is in session tonight with a long list of items under the consent agenda for purchase of chemicals for the waste water treatment plant, the pool and more. City Manager Dan Holler says work continues on updating the city charter to remove dated language.
The awarding of the Safe route to school project will be awarded to Cazudores Construction upon completion of the bid protest process in an amount up to $533,803.95; council is to authorize the Mayor to execute the construction contract, subject to legal review; and, authorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer to approve construction change orders for up to 10% of the total contract amount. The Grass Valley city council meets tonight in the lower level at City Hall 125 E. Main Street in Grass Valley at 7pm this evening.
