As of last May, that would tie for the second-highest percentage, with Alpine, Amador, and El Dorado counties. Only neighboring Placer County is just slightly higher, at 95-percent. Renner says registering by Monday helps ensure a more convenient voting experience…

And that would be on Election Day. And your vote won’t be counted that night. You can register online at “registervote-dot-ca-dot-gov” and also check your registration status at “votestatus-dot-sos-dot-ca-dot-gov”. Also, students 16 and 17 years old are encouraged to pre-register to vote, so their registration will automatically become active when they turn 18. And young people who turn 18 on or before this Election Day are also eligible to vote.
