Four Teen Trick or Treaters Injured In Golf Cart Crash
A 65-year-old woman faces felony charges after crashing a golf cart into a tree while driving four teens on Halloween in Alta Sierra.
Four trick-or-treaters in their early teens were involved in a golf cart crash in an Alta Sierra last Saturday evening, which was on Halloween. And a 65-year-old woman was arrested by the California Highway Patrol. Officer Sean Armacher says the accident occurred in front of a home on Henson Road. Kathy Rickansrud had been driving the teens around the neighborhood when, for unknown reasons, she accelerated into a tree…
And Armacher says that’s where Rickansrud was taken into custody…
Armacher says it’s apparently common that Rickansrud has
driven trick-or-treaters around the neighborhood for past Halloweens. But this
year she was booked on four felony charges that also include hit and run and child
endangerment.
