Hi, this is Megan Guerin from Nevada Union, and you're listening to Star 94 FM. You're gonna fall for the one with the messy hair. 90's old rock tea and piercing blue eyes. Smart as hell, but acts so, lest they fail. Smoking weed, singing you his lullabies. It's gonna start out innocent enough, then you're caught in a rush. Won't know which way's up. Welcome to the funhouse, where the crazy comes out. Running through a maze of dust. Trying to take in overloaded emotions. Feeling the distortion. Looking in a crooked mirror. Half not clear, but it's gonna make you who you are now. You're gonna sing with Stefani in a dive bar. Everybody's gonna treat you like rock stars. Soon he's got a girl waiting on the side, and it makes you cry. So you get a guy to get him off your mind. Welcome to the funhouse, where the crazy comes out. Running through a maze of dust. Trying to take in overloaded emotions. Feeling the distortion. Looking in a crooked mirror. Half not clear, but it's gonna make you who you are now. Tilted floors of envy. Spinning walls of jealousy. Starry eyes, sweet heartbreak. Left with all your mistakes. Life's not over, but you'll wonder. That's the price of young love. You were bound to screw it up. Welcome to the funhouse, where the crazy comes out. Running through a maze of dust. Trying to take in overloaded emotions. Feeling the distortion. Looking in a crooked mirror. Half not clear. Welcome to the funhouse, where the crazy comes out. Running through a maze of dust. Trying to take in overloaded emotions. Feeling the distortion. Looking in a crooked mirror. Half not clear, but it's gonna make you who you are now. It's gonna make you who you are now. It's gonna make you who you are now. Star 94 FM, Bronte, Fall, and Funhouse. A funny story. You know, Nevada County Fair, I don't know if they had the funhouse this year. But you know, the funhouse, when you walked in, it was all the mirror grooms. You know, it was like a mirror maze you had to go through. My son, Brother Bear, was probably, I don't know, five years old, four years old. Maybe four. And we get there. He wants to go in the funhouse. So we go in the funhouse, we get the ticket, we get inside. You go through the entrance. And he took off running and ran smack dab into the mirror. I know, it's funny, not funny, right? Hi, this is Ryan Valdez with Rock Rose Risk. Like many Californians, I've watched homeowners face rising insurance costs, policy cancellations, and growing uncertainty, especially in wildfire-prone areas. That's why we created Rock Rose Risk. We work with homeowners, ranchers, farms, HOAs, multifamily and businesses to better understand and reduce wildfire risk and help insurance companies recognize the mitigation work being done. The result? Many of our clients save an average of 21% to 35% on insurance premiums while making their property safer and more resilient. We believe people who invest in protecting their property should have better options. If you're frustrated with wildfire insurance, let's have a conversation. Visit rockroserisk.com to learn more. Hi, this is Kelly from Nevada County, and you're listening to Nevada County's number one music station, Star 94 FM. Baby, you set me up. Baby, you set me up. Instead of just a memory of less of you. The camera man is a cocktail glass, behind the bar under the plastic pranks. I find the lady with the fat diamond ring. And you know I can't remember a damn thing. I think it's one of those deja vu things. Or a dream that's trying to tell me something. But we'll have to stop thinking about it. I don't know. I doubt it. Subterranean by design. I wonder what I would find if I met you. Let my eyes caress you. Until I meet the thornless princess who. I often wonder what makes her work. I guess I'll leave that question to the experts. Assuming that there are some out there who probably are a little solitaire. I can remember when I caught up with a past time intimate friend. She said, but you're probably going to say I look lovely. But you probably don't think nothing of me. She was right though. I can't lie. She's just one of those corners of my mind. And I just put it right back with the rest. That's the way it goes. Baby, you set me up. Baby, you set me up. Baby, you set me up. Baby, you set me up. Careless whisper from a careless man. A neutron dance for a neutron fan. Marionette strings a dangerous thing. Affordable, a triple A bling. A 949, a spotless buy. Rubber bands expand in a frustrating sign. Tell me that she's not dreaming. She's got an ace in the hole that doesn't have meaning. Reality used to be a friend of mine. Cut complete control, I don't take it too kind. Christina Applegate, you gotta put me on. And guess who's piece of the cake was back on. She broke her wishbone and wished for a sign. I told her when she feels in my heart we'll find. What did she think that she could do? I feel for her. I really do. And I stared at the ring finger on her hand. I wanted her to be a big PM Storm fan. But I'll have to put her right back with the rest. That's the way it goes. Baby, you set me up. Baby, you set me up. Baby, you set me up. Baby, you set me up. Baby, you set me up. Baby, you set me up. Baby, you set me up. Hat Day. Driving you home. Weekdays on Star 94 FM. What do you mean? Tonight, it's going to be one of those games It's the defining moments of where do you want your season to go? Do you want it to go uphill or downhill? So the Minors coming in at 1-3 with losses to Lincoln Christian Brothers and Ammo So Minors coming off their bye week Casa Roble coming off a loss to Sutter Both teams are predominantly running teams that want to establish that run game early and really want to identify themselves defensively Both teams have given up too many points There's one common theme in both schedules that they've given up too many points So I think we're going to see a really, really good game I think we're going to see players play at their top level They're going to show up for tonight's game Don't have any doubt about it There is not a single player out here that's overlooking tonight's game It will be all in to get a win And for the Rams, on their radar is number two, Carter Koss Koss is a demon in the backfield He is their runner When we talked to Coach Chris Horner this week of the Rams He talked about how Koss is the runner He's a stud, he's an all-metro guy And he's going to be the guy carrying their offense Now, one of the interesting factors is that their middle linebacker who has been a standout this year Aiden Ante He is out tonight That is a significant talent loss for the Casa Robles Rams Let's talk for a minute Andrew, I want to hear more about Casa Robles, but Let's talk for a minute about the Nevada Union Miners They had their bye week last week They are regrouping in an attempt to really get things together Had a chance to talk with Coach Kai Conway He admitted that Casa Robles is having a rough season with injuries They have one ineligible player who is ineligible for four games because he threw a punch But they do have an air raid offense which is the Achilles heel of Nevada Union This last week, as far as health is concerned Nevada Union had three students out with a strep throat And Ty felt that the focus was on the offense Can we get traction in the run game? They are going to add some wrinkles They need to get rolling Hope to open up the passing game more Try to get more confidence in quarterback J.C. Harris Who will be playing defensively again this week They want to get him in a groove The wild card as they look at it is Can we defend the pass? Secondly, can we take care of the ball? Conway said this team never quits They continue to play hard As far as Grant Sparks is concerned I had an exclusive interview with him this week More on that later He says, I have full faith in these guys I'm ready to go These are great players During my week, he said the practices were good and even better And he said Casa Roble is a well-prepared team with a chance for their first win They need a win He said that our guys will focus on what we need to do Now let's switch to one of Andrew's favorite players Justice Clayton He's looking to up the intensity and get a win He says they got their heads right during bye week and they're looking forward to a close game and a good matchup There's kind of a recap of the Nevada Union Want to get more MPG? It's time for the Car Show in 6 minutes On KNCO, Grass Valley, Nevada City 106.9 FM and 830 AM --- end of transcript ---
