175 is a two-part exhibition featuring over 30 local artists celebrating the 175th anniversary of the formation of the County of Nevada. Alongside 2D and 3D art in a variety of mediums, 175 presents key dates, historic achievements, notable events, influential individuals, and local tribal history. For the historical aspect of the exhibition Nevada County Arts & Culture partnered with the Nevada County Historical Society and HUṠWEJ (formerly CHIRP). The reception will include some light refreshments, an opportunity to meet the artists, and reflections on the history of Nevada County from local representatives.
