California and local history will be featured at this month's used book sale sponsored by the Friends of the Nevada County Libraries (FOL). The sale -- including thousands of books for children and adults, CDs, and DVDs -- will be from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Shoppers should enter on the Foley Library's lower level on the York Street side. Prices generally range from 25 cents to $1, and up. Founded in 1972, FOL is a charitable nonprofit organization. Its mission is to support programs benefiting the Nevada County Library system.
