Wallace & Gromit: The Classic Shorts 12/27 -Back on the big screen for the first time in ages! The beloved duo of clueless inventor Wallace and his wise, world-weary dog companion Gromit first took the world by storm in this trio of sweetly absurd Oscar-winning shorts by visionary animator Nick Park. Full of stunning filmmaking and design, clever writing and deep emotional beats, this timeless program of claymation is for the kid in us all. Featuring the original three Academy Award-winning short films: A GRAND DAY OUT (1989, 25 mins.) Talented but unlucky inventor Wallace travels with his loyal sidekick on a cheese-seeking moon quest. THE WRONG TROUSERS (1993, 30 mins.) Wallace’s latest invention – a pair of “Techno Trousers” – leads to danger from penguin supervillain Feathers McGraw. A CLOSE SHAVE (1995, 30 mins.) Wallace has a new invention – a Knit-O-Matic machine – and adventure looms as sheep are being rustled and poor Gromit is framed. Keep your eyes peeled for Shaun the Sheep in his big-screen debut!
