Nevada County Habitat for Humanity’s Heritage Oaks Project, a multiple 16 home development on Joyce Drive. It is their first “green” development and plan to apply sustainable, energy efficient building methods and materials. All homeowner families must earn 30%-60% of AMI to be eligible and contribute a minimum of 500 sweat equity hours to help build their homes. The homes will be completed in phases with an average of 2-4 per year, over the next 4-5 years.
