WHAT IS LIL’ OWIE? Lil’ Owie is a little plush dog with a very big job. He goes into hospitals and into the arms of children going through medical treatments—especially children who are scared, hurting, lonely, or simply need a friend. His job is simple: to comfort their hurts and hearts and remind them they are not forgotten and they are not alone. Each Lil’ Owie arrives in his own red bag, “A Friend for Life’s Owies,” ready to become a comforting friend during some of a child’s hardest days. And that is why we are playing Bingo.
