Mark your calendars — the NSJ Volunteer Fire Department's beloved annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser and Dutch Auction is back on Saturday, November 7th, from 4-8pm at Fire House 1, 10057 Reservoir St in North San Juan. This is the event North San Juan waits all year for, a night of incredible food, fierce bidding wars, and real support for the firefighters who show up for us, rain or fire. This year's event promises a memorable experience for the whole family. Our firefighters will be serving up their home-cooked spaghetti dinner, prepared with care and community spirit. The all-you-can-eat dinner tickets are priced at $20 for adults, $15 for kids ages 6-12, and free for children 5 and under. Every dollar raised goes straight to the volunteers who give up their weekends, their sleep, and sometimes their safety to keep this town standing. Our goal this year is $3,000, and we can't hit it without you. Bring your appetite, your family, and your bidding spirit for an evening that celebrates community, supports local volunteers, and creates lasting memories. Starting around 6:30pm, things heat up with silent and live auctions packed with dozens of prizes donated by local businesses all over Nevada County. Gift certificates, handmade treasures, one-of-a-kind experiences — there's something worth fighting for no matter what you're into. And then there's the Dutch Auction, the crowd favorite that turns the whole room into pure competitive chaos.
